Wake County Republican Women’s Club

Wake County Republican Women’s Club was born from a group of non-partisan women in Wake County who were all for General Dwight Eisenhower in 1952. In January 1953, when General Eisenhower became President Eisenhower, ten women broke away from the majority democrat organization and became the Wake County Republican Women’s Club. The club was one of the original chartered members of the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women. Today we continue with the objectives set forth in 1953: Promote political activity through education; To increase the effectiveness of women in the participation of federal, state and local government; Promote candidates in elections including non-partisan elections; To work for the election for the Republican Party’s nominees.

Western Wake Republican Club

The Western Wake Republican Club was founded in 2002. Since then, we have provided monthly meeting opportunities, supported candidates and local charities, and informed our fellow voters about conservative candidates. Today we continue to provide informative programs, hear from elected officials, organize community walks, serve as greeters at Early Voting and on Election Day, provide legislative updates and a weekly newsletter and support our local and state candidates. Now one of the largest Republican clubs in Wake County, the Western Wake Republican Club offers many opportunities to get involved.
